| ANOTHER WAY TO HELP! See if you can get the following press release ran in your newspaper, or have them contact us for a story! For Immediate Release: "STAMPS 4 SOLDIERS" "SI Yellow Ribbon", the voluntary non-profit organization dedicated to lending support and sending care packages to the troops, is launching a new campaign, "Stamps 4 Soldiers". Right now, the organization has been fortunate to be the recipient of several item drives and the headquarters is full of supplies to mail but efforts to raise postage money to send these items has not been very successful so whether the group pays to put the postage on or put the stamps on themselves doesn't matter as long as the boxes get mailed. Thus the new campaign "Stamps 4 Soldiers". Most everyone has a few stamps tucked away, especially "older amounts" which tend to be not used when rates increase. Perhaps churches, schools, organizations, etc. could hold a "stamp drive" as competition or just put out a drop box. Businesses can also be a part of the Honor "Roll" on the organizations website for donating at least 1 roll of stamps a month to the cause. Sun Loans in Marion, Illinois is already a part of this endeavor and has done so for several months. A major hotel in Springfield, Illinois off historic Route 66 has "Stamps 4 Soldiers" on their billboard and has drop off boxes for the Springfield area to leave their postage for the troops. Some schools have already committed to holding drives and contests to see which classroom can collect the most stamps or form the longest "mile of stamps". Any stamps can be mailed directly to "SI Yellow Ribbon", PO Box 602, Harrisburg, Illinois 62946. Also there are drop-off points besides our headquarters at 315 E. Poplar Street, Harrisburg, at Fast Print, 501 W. DeYoung St. in Marion, Tangles Beauty Salon (across from Marion Army Reserve Armory on Route 13) Marion and the Tub Surgeon, 906 N. 14th St in Murphysboro. When dropping off stamps or donations please leave a note stating who it is from. More information about the project can be found at the organizations website www.siyellowribbon.com or by calling 618-926-1299. The next big project that will be kicked off soon will be the "Holiday Hugs to our Heroes" Christmas Campaign along with the "Freedom Walk" commemorating 9/11. Details on all can be found at the website. Contact Info: Amy Oxford, co-coordinator SI Yellow Ribbon 618-926-1299 or siyellowribbon@onemain.com PLEASE CONTACT US FOR PHOTO TO GO WITH RELEASE |

| With our ongoing lack of postage to get supplies overseas, we are trying a new approach - "Stamps 4 Soldiers". Do you have any extra postage stamps laying around? Have you got some of the "older amounts" that you just haven't gotten around to getting any additional postage for? Please consider donating them to our campaign to assist in sending over care packages! SOME IDEAS FOR HOW YOU CAN HELP: **Individuals -- see if you have any stamps you can spare to drop in an envelope and send to our Campaign. Ask your friends and family to participate. **Clubs, groups, organizations -- Adopt the "Stamps 4 Soldiers" effort as a project for your group. Have all members collect to donate and even get out and get other involved! **Businesses -- Donate a roll of stamps if you are able! If you are in a large workplace ask all employees to bring stamps. It's amazing how many stamps can be collected within a group of people! Join our "Honor ROLL" and pledge to donate 1 roll of stamps per month! Put out a drop box for your employees and customers to put in stamps! **Churches -- Designate a Sunday for the congregration to bring in stamps. Pass the collection plate and ask them to put in their stamps! Sunday school classes can adopt it as well. **Schools -- "Stamps 4 Soldiers" within our schools have been very successful! Many schools have run this for a week as a "contest". Contact us to see if we can get a pizza/soda class for your winning classroom! For younger grade we have coloring sheets they can do to be included in our care packages, there are many ideas. We would love to see more schools get involved collecting postage stamps! Collected Stamps Can Be Mailed To: SI Yellow Ribbon PO Box 602 Harrisburg, Illinois 62946 or dropped off at our headquarters located at 315 East Poplar Street, (downtown, Route 13) Harrisburg, Illinois.
