"SI Yellow Ribbon" recently honored country music star Aaron Tippin for all his contributions to our troops and visits overseas to entertain and perform for those stationed abroad.. At the end of a charity concert, "Tuesday with the Tippins," sponsored by Z100, where both Tippin and his wife Thea performed, SI Yellow Ribbon co-coordinator Amy Oxford and her daughter Callie were called on stage to recognize Tippin's dedication to entertaining our service members. They presented him with a framed certificate and got to visit with him and his family behind stage after the concert.
"Tuesday With The Tippins" was a special charity concert to collect toys for Z100's Nut & Honey Morning Show "Christmas Miracle" held on Tuesday December 6th, 2005. Special performances were also done by Hometown News and Sweet Kay Tee Jay. |
